Dr Robynne Glasser
MBChB (UCT), DA (SA)
Hi! My name is Robynne.
I am a general practitioner in the Southern Suburbs with a special interest and love for caring for women and children. I have a passion for holistic healthcare, encompassing a focus on the whole person and all the facets of their wellbeing.
I seek to form long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families that are built on trust, deep care and compassion, and the common goal of their thriving.
First & foremost
I love God and I love people, and my calling to be a family doctor is a natural outflow of that. I believe that it is my God-given purpose to make people feel seen and heard, and to help them get to the roots of their illness in order to journey towards wellness. I aim to create a safe place for people and to be their first port of call, regardless of their healthcare needs.
I am passionate about continual learning and staying at the forefront of the latest medical research to ensure that I provide my patients with up-to-date, evidence-based care. I am also dedicated to my own journey in order to ensure that I am engaging with my patients and colleagues from a place of wholeness and inspiring others to do the same.
I am a proud graduate of the University of Cape Town.
I spent my internship years at Victoria Hospital in Cape Town and did my community service at Polokwane Provincial Hospital in anaesthetics, before returning to the Mother City to follow my dream of being a family doctor. When I am not working, I can be found spending time with my husband, Zac, our family and friends, running, swimming in the ocean, crocheting, cooking or indulging my love of being a bookworm.
It is an immense privilege to journey with people and their families through their lifespan; empowering them with knowledge about their health and imparting lifelong tools.
